The Lack of Prizes is Just One Reason This Event is Wildly Successful: The Kids Inclusion Art Show Celebrates Over 2,000 Young People in Quinte West
Artist, gallery owner and entrepreneur Brandy Calvert-Ringelmann wanted to make sure that everyone got the chance to experience the exhilaration of displaying one's own canvas in a public art show. And when the number of participants increased by 4x, she took the show to the community.
This short film, produced just as the canvases were being created for the 2025 event, celebrates the concept of inclusivity in art. Drawing on the experiences of teachers and parents, as well as the curator’s own reflections, this short film will remind you why small town living can exemplify the best that life has to offer. It was created in collaboration with Ashley Foley of Foley Communications.
