Setting a course for the future: An extraordinary story of an exceptional choir

When we left Peterborough 15 years ago to follow our life path around the globe, the Peterborough Singers was a well established choir that was making waves on the national music scene. At the helm was the ever-charismatic Syd Birrell.

Fast forward to May of this year and, yes, I am only mildly surprised to receive word that the choir is stronger than ever. As plans are created to ensure the group’s robust future beyond the tenure of its founding conductor, I was invited to develop a short film. In an economical 4 minutes, audiences are treated to first-hand stories from several singers and supporters as they celebrate the Peterborough Singers past, present and future. And yes, there will be music. 🎶
