Clichés cease to be cliché when family stories are being told. Sometimes rags do turn to riches. And these are the stories that we need to offer our future generations. At least this is the sentiment that Sanj expressed when he reached out to arrange a filming session for his Dad, Samuel.

I grew up in an era when men were not encouraged to share their feelings. They certainly didn’t cry. So there’ll be none of that in this story.

Through our work together, Wade and his amazing spouse Arlene have become friends. They inspire me to think about how we can let our mindset turn our skill set into good in the world.
